Balcas Energy ENplus A1 wood pellets

What ENplus A1 guarantees

ENplus sets limits for moisture, ash, durability, fines and chemical content, and covers the whole supply chain - production, storage and transport to your door. Balcas was the first in the UK and Ireland to be audited for ENplus, gaining accreditation in April 2011. Regular external audits and sampling check that our pellets stay within the A1 limits.

Made and delivered by us

We control every step, from the timber to your store. Our pellets are made from the sawdust of our own sawmills, with no additives, at our mills in Northern Ireland and Scotland, and our own fleet delivers them in bulk and bags across the UK and Ireland. See how we make our wood pellets.

How to find your BSL fuel number

Your BSL number is printed on your invoice and shown in your online account. Because we deliver from several depots, each with its own authorisation, the number that applies to you is the one on your own delivery documentation. Sign in to your account to check it.
