Balcas Energy Wood Pellet Facility Incident Update and Thanks

We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to the fire crews from Invergordon and surrounding stations for their swift and professional response to today’s incident at our Balcas wood pellet facility. Their quick action, combined with the calm and effective response from our own on-site team, ensured the safety of all personnel and helped bring the situation under control quickly.

We are incredibly proud of the professionalism and composure shown by everyone involved.

An investigation is now underway to determine the cause of the incident. This process will take time, and we will provide updates as more information becomes available.

In the meantime, our team is working hard to resume full operations as quickly and safely as possible. Thanks to contingency planning and the continued production at our Enniskillen wood pellet facility, we do not anticipate any disruption to customer deliveries.
