We supply wood pellets near your location from 8 depots across the UK and Ireland, using our own fleet of delivery vehicles. This reduces cross-contamination risks and delivery times.

For bagged deliveries we use our long-term trusted hauliers, with whom we worked for years.

We encourage all our customers to order online when possible. Online ordering is available for customers who purchase bags and up to 8 tonnes of bulk. At the moment, there is a shortage in the marketing for EnPlus A1 wood pellets due to the stoppage of Russian origin wood pellets. This means our phones are busier than usual meaning wait times will be longer to speak to an representative.

Exisiting Customers of Balcas Energy

How do we make our wood pellets?

We make our wood pellet fuel with green energy in our two local plants in Enniskillen (Northern Ireland) and Invergordon (Scotland).

We use a sustainable manufacturing process, by using renewable energy and the highest quality material.

The renewable energy used to manufacture the pellet fuel is generated on-site thanks to the co-products of all Balcas saw-milling activities. That’s what makes our manufacturing operations be powered by green electricity possible.

The original timber is either spruce or pine, locally sourced from sustainably managed forests.
